• You can find a test review of the Viper Sidewinder Frame (Freestyle, Freeride, Slalom, compatible with FSK and Twister skates), written by the (in)famous Benjamin Brillante (aka BBLove) here - Ben is a very experienced freeskater and freestyler, have a look at his video profile, and his famous 'Ride on Babylon' video while you're at it (you might have to register to view these).
• Markus tested the Viper Sidewinder CM frame on Salomon CrossMax 3 - they are definitely a huge step up from the default 247EA frame! The Sidewinder is much more solid and stable, provides both more hold and control when moving fast and for slides (a real HiLo setup was used to test this), and more control and balance for slalom and general freestyle moves (this was tested in a full rocker). When doing jumps, stairs, and curb stalls we found that these frames provide much more stability and (again!) control, and don't make the 'clanging' noise the EA do - they are more solid and stand up to rough usage.
• We also had volunteers try out Sidewinder TP frames with a full rocker doing slalom (testers quote: "they maneuver like my ice hockey skates!") and the 845 Pro Elite frame ("it's like flying - so smooth, controlled, and faaaast!"), which confirmed the overall excellent impression of the Viper range
