Looking for a good workout?
Skating is a great workout! It's a better aerobic workout than running, cycling or swimming.
It's a great way to get fit and burn these extra calories from yesterday's evening at the pub!
Also - skating is much kinder to your joints than cycling or especially running.
If you have problems with your knees or ankles from running, then skating is for you!
Skating as a workout requires basic
technique (falling, moving, breaking, turning), plus advanced striding
(Stride 2 or 3), plus, if it's to be done on the road, road awareness
training!
