Inline Skating & Rollerblading Tricks: Side Surf 'Royale'
also known as 'Heel-heel side Surf'
Drills & Supporting Techniques
It helps if you're able to do the following:
- Side Surf - both directions
- Heel-heel Eazy
- Moon Turns
- Independent, at least in Moon Turn (foot control!)
The Move
- go into a Side Surf, or (more stable to begin with) a large Moon
Turn
- bend your knees, and push up
- push out both legs, and hold your feet on the heel wheels
- upper body up, hips in, open arms to keep shoulders back, head up

- Heel-Toe/Toe-Heel variants
- Forwards/backwards and backwards/forwards transitions in Eazy
